A New Way to Turn Our Values into Action

We’re excited to introduce our Community Champion Program, a new initiative and a meaningful step forward in how we support and stay connected to the communities we serve. We created this purpose-driven program to give our Fibre Family employees a more intentional way to get involved, build relationships, and expand our impact across the regions we call home.

The program was open to employees at all levels of the organization, and the response was incredible. After hearing from so many staff members eager to step up and give back, we selected 23 team members as our inaugural Community Champions. These Champions officially began their roles on March 1, working alongside our Community Development team to support volunteer opportunities, community events, and local engagement efforts throughout the year.

Serving as a Champion doesn’t change anyone’s day-to-day role, but it does create an additional opportunity for Fibre Family staff who are passionate about giving back to take an active role in our community efforts.

Our Community Champions serve as go-to contacts within their locations for community questions and opportunities. They help share volunteer opportunities with coworkers, encourage participation in service projects, and help keep our community spirit strong. You will likely see them out and about at local events throughout the year.

As our inaugural class, these Champions are helping shape what this program will become, and we can’t wait to see the impact they’ll make in the communities we call home.
