A Summer of Service

Our Community Champions have been busy making a positive difference throughout our communities. From spreading the love during a Peanut Butter Drive for kids to welcoming folks to free outdoor movie nights, our Champions are showing up, getting involved, and giving back with heart.

This summer, our Champions contributed 145 hours to events that bring our communities together. You might have spotted them pitching in at county fairs and festivals, marching in 4th of July parades, or hosting booths at National Night Out. In fact, our Champions accounted for 23% of all volunteer hours across our communities during this time. That’s a whole lot of #CreditUnionGood packed into one busy summer!

Serving as a Community Champion doesn’t change anyone’s day-to-day role. Instead, it gives Fibre Family staff who are passionate about giving back more opportunities to get involved. Champions serve as go-to contacts for volunteer opportunities, encourage their coworkers to join in, and represent our Fibre Family at local events throughout the year. So, if you spot your local Champion out and about in your community, be sure to say hi!

Thank you to our Champions for putting the credit union philosophy of "People Helping People" into action with their enthusiasm, generosity, and commitment to giving back.
