Leading the Way Through Service

Our 23 Community Champions have been busy making a difference throughout our communities since the launch of the Community Champion Program!

From shell-ebrating at the Astoria Warrenton Crab, Seafood, & Wine Festival to kicking off our first-ever Fibre Family Friday game with the Ridgefield Raptors, our Champions are showing up, getting involved, and giving back with heart.

Since March, our Champions have contributed more than 164 hours serving on Chamber and nonprofit boards across our service areas, filling eggs for Easter egg hunts, supporting Meals on Wheels, hosting Rainy Months Series activities, and so much more. This is over 20% of all hours contributed back to our communities during this time, which shows that these volunteer superstars are fully committed to spreading #CreditUnionGood.

Serving as a Community Champion doesn’t change anyone’s day-to-day role, but it does provide an opportunity for Fibre Family staff who are passionate about giving back to take a more active role in our community efforts. Champions serve as go-to contacts for volunteer opportunities and community involvement, helping encourage participation and representing us at local events throughout the year.

Thank you to our Champions for bringing the credit union philosophy of "People Helping People" to life through their enthusiasm, service, and commitment to the communities we serve.
