What is Mobile Banking?
Mobile banking is a free service offered by Fibre Federal Credit Union that allows members on-the-go access to their accounts via their web enabled mobile phone or tablet.
How do I access Mobile Banking?
You may access via our free Fibre Federal Mobile Application (Android and Apple) or by connecting directly to or our mobile banking site at mobile.fibrecu.com with any web enabled mobile device.
Where can I download the application?
The application can be downloaded by scanning one of the QR codes on our
page. Or, you may visit the Apple App Store and Google Play and search for "Fibre Federal" to locate and download the application.
What mobile platforms is the application compatible with?
The application is currently compatible with the iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch, and Android (2.1 operating system and higher) platforms.
What functions are available with the application?
The application allows you to access and use all functions of Mobile Banking (checking balances, reviewing transaction history, making funds transfers, sending and receiving secure messages). In addition the application will allow you to check rates, find branches/ATMs/shared branches, and get contact information for Fibre Federal.
Do I need to enroll in Online Banking in order to use the application?
In order to use the mobile banking functions of the application, you must enroll in Online Banking. Functions such as the location finder, contact information and member center do not require Online Banking enrollment. To enroll contact us for a PIN at 360-423-8750 or 800-205-7872 or
use this form
and select "New Accounts." When you have your PIN, you may sign up online.
Can I pay bills with Mobile Banking?
Online Bill Pay is not available via Mobile Banking at this time.
How much does it cost?
Fibre Federal Credit Union does not charge for this service. However, standard data transfer charges apply through your wireless carrier.
What type of devices can I use with Mobile Banking?
You can use Mobile Banking from any internet enabled phone, tablet, or personal device--whether it’s a flip phone, smart phone, or electronic tablet. However, the app is only available on Android and Apple devices.
Is Mobile Banking Secure?
Yes! Mobile Banking allows access to your Fibre Federal account from any web-enabled mobile phone or tablet. Mobile Banking requires the same secure login information that is used to login to your Online Banking. PIN numbers are never stored at any stage. Your data is encrypted using the Wireless Transport Layer Security (WTLS) protocol, which provides the highest level of security available today. For added security, our system will automatically log you out after an extended period of inactivity. This prevents someone from using a member's wireless device to access the member's accounts if the member forgets to logout.
